A while ago, on September 22 to be precise, our lovely CMO, Patric Blixt, jumped on the plane and flew to Helsinki to speak at an awesome conference called Arctic15 organized by our friends over at ArcticStartup.
Patric has been with us since 2007, and he’s worked with digital media since 1995 at agencies like Young&Rubicam Brand Dialogue and at start-ups like Pricerunner.com. Prior to Rebtel, Patric was Director Global New Media, where he helped transform one of the most image-driven brands in the world, ABSOLUT VODKA, into offering brand utility and thereby creating the largest spirit brand online.

With all the announcement we’ve made during the past couple of weeks, it’s safe to say that spirits are high here at Rebtel HQ.
Since it’s awards season, we figured we should give the annual Mashable Awards a shot. You can nominate your favorite company, person, site, game, app or gadget, and on the app side, we hope we’ve done enough to earn your vote for Rebtel 2.0 for iPhone in the category Most Useful Mobile App.
You can submit one nomination for Rebtel in the Most Useful Mobile App category once every 24 hours, so be sure to come back there every once in a while. Mashable’s editors will then select seven finalists for each category, and finalists will be announced on November 21, then you, the readers, will vote for the winners. Awards winners will be announced on the Mashable site on December 19 and later celebrated at the MashBash at CES on January 11, 2012.
