Call For Free To Egypt With Rebtel February 4th, 2011

In wake of the recent protests in Egypt that had their beginning on Tuesday, January 25, we’re giving away 30 minutes of free calls to all Rebtel users that have made a call to Egypt with us in the past month. If you’re currently not a Rebtel user, you’re still able to receive the same amount of free minutes by signing up with the voucher code Egypt30. The minutes will be credited to your account once you make your first payment.

To make sure you can still call Egypt for an affordable price once your 30 minutes are up, we have also made the decision to lower our standard rate to Egypt to 9.6 cent per minute, down from 13.5 cent. All Rebtel users will be able to call for the new temporary rate starting today until it expires Sunday, February 20.

The purpose of this effort is to provide people that need it the most with a free (or affordable) means of getting in touch with loved ones that still are in Egypt during this very critical time.
