First off, we want to send a big thanks to all the hundreds of people that entered our Rebtel Reunite Photo Contest, in which we asked you to share a quirky, funny or loving picture of yourself and/or that special someone in your life that you’re away from and miss the most. The grand prize? An all-paid round-trip ticket back home!
Now, the contest enters its second and most exciting stage, namely the voting stage. Before you get to it, here’s some basic stuff to keep in mind.
Anyone is allowed to vote for each photo they like once a day until the voting period ends, which is August 26. That means that you can ask anyone with a Facebook account to vote for you to increase your chances of winning.
When you get to the voting page, you simply click Thumbs Up if you like a photo or Thumbs Down if you don’t. In practice, that means if you have 1 vote and someone gives you a Thumbs Down, you’ll be back to 0 votes.
On August 26, the 3 photos with the highest number of votes will each win a trip back home to be reunited with their loved one. Also, as a condolence prize, submission that rank 4-17 will each win $100 worth of Rebtel credit.
To maximize your chances of winning, ask your friends, family and co-workers (nicely) to vote for you once every day until voting closes. You can easily share your photo with your Facebook friends when voting by making sure the ‘Share on my wall’ box is ticked.
How To Vote In 3 Simple Steps
1. Go to Facebook.com/Rebtel and click on ‘Win a trip’
2. Scroll down and click on ‘View Entries’
3. Find the photo you like the most and click Tumbs Up.
